Dr. Kathryn Finlayson BSc., DVM
Dr. Kathryn Finlayson is a 2002 Ontario Veterinary College graduate. Dr. Finlayson has years of experience working in small animal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. Since a young age, she has dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Proud owner of the Stewiacke River Animal Hospital – Dr. Finlayson is excited to help service the town and surrounding areas. When she is not working Kathryn can be found watching her children at different sporting events. The majority of winter time is spent in a rink watching her children play hockey and figure skating. In addition to running kids around – her family has a variety of pets including 4 dogs, a cat, pet pig and polish hens. Three of her children would like to follow in their mother’s footsteps and become veterinarians. As a result, Dr. Finlayson’s business model is a small animal privately owned and family run veterinary business.
